Unlucky donkey rescued from well

A donkey had to be rescued by fire crews after he fell down a well in a field in Northamptonshire.

An RSPCA inspector, a vet and firefighters were called to Orton, near Kettering, after a passer-by spotted the donkey, called Eeyore.

Robert McCartney

A man has been cleared of the murder of Robert McCartney, who was beaten and stabbed to death in an attack blamed on IRA members.

Terence Davison, 51, was cleared of the murder and two counts of affray at Belfast Crown Court.
